The claw's sharp, knife-like design has been enhanced for smaller fish, but can also effectively target bass, trout, bream, black, and small Kingfish. The claw mechanism is designed to remain closed unless the trigger is pulled, ensuring it stays securely attached even if the target is still lively.

Additionally, the upper claw has a unique "unicorn" shape with a large horn, allowing for a smooth landing even if the fish's mouth is closed. The back of the grip includes a lanyard link, making it convenient to attach spiral cords and carabiners.
